Clou; no nonsense Dutch design
Clou has been an importer and wholesaler in designer bathroom and sanitary products since 1992. We represent the top brand Lineabeta . Since 2000, we have also been developing and manufacturing bathroom and sanitary products ourselves, under our own brand name. The intensive cooperation with a fixed team of nationally and internationally renowned designers has resulted in a well- balanced collection that represents our passion for beauty, shape and perfect function. We also focus on affordability and quality.
Our range includes not only designer washbasins, handbasins, baths and toilets. But also complete bathroom furnishings manufactured from innovative materials in a range of colours. The matching accessories such as our taps, mirrors and lighting are the finishing touch to our range. Minimalistic, exclusive, stately or intimate: whatever atmosphere you are aiming for in your bathroom or lavatory, Clou would be happy to provide the inspiration.
Award winning designs
Design Plus
At ISH 2011 Clou received the prestigious Designplus Award for the innovative design of the Wash Me bathroom series. Designplus, organized by Messe Frankfurt in cooperation with the German Design Council, is one of the leading design competitions in Germany. Besides the technical and ecological quality of the Wash Me design, other criteria were the choice of materials, user value and the entire concept.
Red Dot: Best of the Best
Our Hammock two-person bathtub with matching Kaldur tap by Clou was awarded the prestigious and highly prized Red Dot Award: Best of the Best. The organization received 5,214 submissions from manufacturers from 57 countries for the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2016. The decision by the 41-member jury was unanimous; this is the very best of design! Ground-breaking products in the world of international bathroom design that deserve the title Best of the Best.
