Zero creativity. They have definitely cracked the strategy services to clients. So if you are looking for a company that can deliver effective creative strategy and want to learn how to put together a 400 pages strategy deck, then this is the place for you. The environment and the culture are not designed for creative work and are innovation adverse due to the type of work they do. There is little done to foster culture aside from happy hours and the work days can be extremely long. The work at Code and Theory was interesting and dynamic. People are great and turn out wonderful work. The company was growing quickly when I was there and because of that had trouble with project on-boarding and resourcing to projects. This created slow-downs in projects that would lead to overtime and tight deadlines. They were trying to actively fix this issue and it was due to having too much business, which is a good problem to have for them. You will work hard, but the work you produce will be good.
