Good working environment with most of your collegues, partially caused because a lot of things are horrible and people tend to support each other. It's a good place to start from the very bottom in the industry and as a small company you can see all the steps involved in the development of a video game. I WOULD NOT recommend this company to someone with previous experience. MVP's done in 3 months (no kidding), there is no margin for errors or iterations, everything has to be done in 3 months. Of course this leads to crunch and 60+ hours per week during some peaks. And of course is not optional and there is no compensation (actually there is sometimes, 1 hour off in exchange for 4 extra hours of work, this is real) It's REALLY important leaving the office late, if you arrive early and you leave early you will be a bad employee who is not commited with the company. It doesn't matter if you are just warming the chair and doing nothing, the more hours you work the more productive you are. This is as far as the managment can see. Low salaries, absolutely none benefits. People fired without any warning at all, just like that, "sorry, but you are fired". They ABSOLUTELY don't care at all about people, you are a cost for the eyes of management and they will make you feel like that. I never ever heard "Thank you" or absolutely anything nice from the management. That's one of the worst things you can say from a boss, sad and true. It's depressing sometimes looking at the faces of people working there and how unmotivated they are. The squeeze people at the point the make them unhappy. Management have no experience in other video game companies, they make the most basic mistakes but they think they know everything and they won't listen to anyone.
