Strong science and operations, everyone really cares about what we're doing. HR is really focused on the culture and created a new peer recognition program. Good benefits and very generous PTO package.

Small company, so can be affected by the ebbs and flows of clinical trials in AD, such as large late phase trial cancellations. This can be challenging. But the small size can also present opportunities to carve out new roles and specialize in a given area, which many people have done. Like anywhere, silos can develop with different departments, so it takes attention and strong communication to keep this from impacting opportunities for collaboration.

This was the worst job I've ever had. Management favors certain people and will protect them at whatever cost, no matter what. Pay is a joke compared to industry standards. Asking management to address reasonable concerns is like talking to a brick wall; nothing will change- unless you are one of those favorites! No career growth until you leave. Seriously toxic environment.

Stop with the favoritism. Value the hardworking people who constantly go above and beyond despite no recognition. Providing beer on Fridays does not equal a good culture. It really is a good product, but your most important one is the PEOPLE who are keeping your company afloat. Try to value them a bit more.

Generous vacation policy, free snacks, many employees are great to work with, good mission.

The company tends to invest in and promote certain employees who have been with the company since its smaller days and who are not cut out at all for management positions. Aggressive micro-management, regularly not showing up or coming in late to work, and just a general lack of qualifications to be leaders.
The technology is solid but it's almost embarrassingly outdated by now. The company refuses to put sufficient resources into their product. It's embarrassing to represent a product that is supposed to be cutting-edge but looks and acts like it was built ten years ago.
Lastly, they vastly underpay employees while overpaying upper-level employees. If you're considering joining the company, especially if you're young, be careful and know what you're worth.
