HUNKS are very energetic and happy
|
I enjoyed working there the time I was there, one of the main issues I had was the fact you do way much more than what you are being compensated for and it is unfair, management is decent but could use some more training, overall my experience was not the worst but was not the best either. And if they fire you they do not tell you they just quit texting you and putting you on the schedule. It honestly is not worth working there at all!

Environment and stress
|
The environment around College Hunks is not a pleasant one you feel like no one treats you like a human and the management doesn’t help with the situations either because they are so caught up in making money so they put you with people that make it stressful at times to work with them and then when you do find a team that feel like people you can work with the management takes it upon themselves to either still put you with other groups or they give you the longest and hardest jobs to keep you out there longer than what your supposed to be

The job is okay if you live at home with your parents and don’t really know where you’re going with life (and you can lift). But if you’re someone with a family, absolutely stay away. There’s maybe one or two people in management that are pretty decent, but overall management has little to no organization, no planning, only care about numbers, and you’ll feel bad for your clients. There is no integrity here, you’ll enjoy this job if you don’t care about blackmailing people into paying 3 times their original quote and threatening them with calling the police if they don’t pay and don’t care to tell them about the price increase until AFTER you complete a job. Way overpriced for what you get and don’t get, which is an empty bank account, holes and scrapes all over your walls and movers/junkers that constantly smell like weed and stink up your house. You will get fired without warning and you won’t hear from them most likely. You are expendable and will be replaced immediately. Many Captains do NOT take initiative, the training is an absolute joke and you’ll get yelled at by your clients because you were not properly trained. It’s okay money if you’re in the top 10% of Captains, but be prepared to fight for hours to make ends meet. In reality you SHOULD have a CDL to drive these trucks but as long as you haven’t driven drunk through an orphanage, you’ll be fine. Do NOT work here unless you really can’t find anything else or you’re fine with scamming people to pay +$2k to move scrap out of their backyard when you’re getting paid next to nothing. You’re basically working for tips if you’re a wingman and make okay commission as a Captain.

You get to choose your own schedule and get paid to workout, easy to get time off for vacation or leave

Lots of hours when busy. You’re gonna work your butt off but going in between jobs you’re just hanging out marketing. Bosses are pretty casual and will treat you right if you make them money.

|
If you’re looking for a moving job skip this company please, they start you off at 10 an hour and bump it up to 11 after a month and that’s it. You do back breaking for little to no compensation if the customer doesn’t tip.
