Good company

Cologix is a good company run by good, solid people. It just wasn’t a great match for my skill set. My position was fully remote. I live in Florida and in the year I worked at Cologix, two major hurricanes took aim at my state. My boss and others with the company were great in giving me the time and support I needed to make sure my house and family were safe. Salary and benefits are good too.

It’s a smaller company, which allows many people to get involved in other people’s sandboxes. This occasionally slows up the process of the project. My position was brand new and I am sure the bugs will get ironed out.

Only thing I’d suggest is a better onboarding and training process. The data center/colocation space can be complicated, especially for someone with no experience in that industry.
