It's all a ruse

It is a nice looking campus
At least there are some people that are friendly and authentic

There are many double standards
They talk about being diverse and support inclusion, but it is all masked and mired by "Christian" values. If you are not Christian, live alternative lifestyles, or are anywhere close to different than the status quo then good luck keeping your job during "reorganization" time. Their marketing material is designed to deceive students and prospective jobholders. Students and staff cannot be authentic unless you really buy into the all-out strict Lutheran lifestyle. You are either Christian or "pre-Christian". Yes, I understand it is a Christian institution but there are so many other universities that are also Christian that are accepting of people of all backgrounds.
There is high turnover and terminations happen often

Learn to be accepting of people that come from a variety of backgrounds and be authentic and real about it rather than hiding by some "diversity and inclusion" garbage that holds no weight.
Get your finances together...the instability to the point of frequent layoffs is not a healthy working environment and it is embarrassing to hear what is still going on there. If there is any fraud get it together...reorganize...do what you need to do.
Please...by all means...embrace Christian principles...but there must be productive ways to do this without causing harm.
