Poor management, Startup company with an Enterprise identity crisis...they were not ready to expand nor had support staff (all two SC's left quickly)

TERRIBLE management - from day 1 I felt like the insecure about my position in terms of stability. There was absolutely zero guidance from from my direct manager who was also laid off due to the CV19 pandemic after working at Condeco for 15 years. It was very clear that he was a great "talker" but did not know the product nor how to communicate any useful training. There was zero onboarding. They are a company who thought they could play in the Enterprise vertical and belonged as well, however, they were a startup WANTING to be an Enterprise. Very poor experience - can't stress enough...

1. A typical day at work in Condeco involved working on tasks/incidents assigned. Adding to that, adhoc client priority issues were worked upon and fixed on daily basis. Documenting the repetitive issues as well as key modules was also part of my job role.
2. In Condeco, I learned how a workspace software worked from end to end. Plus it gave me a great exposure to Microsoft Azure (Cloud Platform as well)
3. Management in Condeco is quite biased and you sometimes don't feel the leverage to report issues to HR as it feels like the HR/Manager won't really listen you and would in fact all this might go against you. So in short lots of Politics.
4. Work Space Culture is quite competitive which really reflects in lots of micro-management
5. Hardest part of job was lots and lots of process changes, I felt the process pf handling client issues used to change every now and then (in fact every week)
6. Most enjoyable part of my job was working on Cloud Platform i.e. Microsoft Azure as well as client interactions.

Great start, Bad finish
|
Started out great with friendly local management and promises for advancement after proving competency. Co-Workers are all friendly. Then advancements opportunities got delayed, but still promised. Experienced local management then got let-go and management was centralized to the UK-London Headquarters. They replaced some experienced local management with clueless ones. Advancement opportunities ceased. Further cuts to the local employees, and those job duties got added to remaining staff. Workloads became too much with no overtime payment. Went downhill very fast.
