Great place to work.

The staff is great. They really care about the residents and are committed to excellence. Connected Living provides a complete engagement program with everything a facilitator would ever need to conduct a 30- 40 minute lesson. However they allow facilitators the flexibility of creativity. Connected Living is a great company to work for.

This is the worst place to work. I worked here for over 2 years and never once had a raise , promotion or graditude what so ever . Patient care is not a priority, AT ALL. The only thing i saw being prioritized is how they were going to hide their faults from state. They do not care about employees . Selfish money maker is what this place is

Run away from this place. Horrible owners, nurse's. Lack of knowledge, skills. Forgery of paperwork, dishonest to the core. No benefits, low wage for nurse's. No traning provide to nurse's working with ventilators. Below standard of patient care.

If my position was still available, I would work for Connected Living again in a heartbeat. The company headquarters were available whenever I reached out for assistance. The position itself gave me many opportunities for networking within the assisted living community.

I enjoyed teaching computers and apps to the elderly. My main job was to enroll residents of the senior living facility to take computer classes. I was also required to teach an hour presentation weekly on different subjects of current and past events in History.

Enjoyable peaceful atmosphere

I worked for Connected LIving as an Ambassador at Brookdale Pinecastle, an Assisted Living Facility in Ocala, FL. I presented a weekly video to interested residents and encouraged conversation and participation. I also taught a Bible Study to some of the residents for a year. I worked one day a week for 5 hours as I was a full-time caregiver for my husband for 7 years and it gave me time out of the house. The job was rewarding and I loved the residents. I was able to pray for them and encourage them and listen to their woes. Brookdale decided to hire me as an Assistant Activities Director after they cancelled their contract with Connected Living, but I was unable to take the job due to my husband's illness. I couldn't leave him alone that much. Brookdale employees seemed pleasant and worked very hard. My mom is in a Brookdale facility. Brookdale is a great company. The biggest problem for me to see there was that it was very difficult to motivate the residents to participate in activities and that was discouraging sometimes. Otherwise, I enjoyed my job there.
