If you like being ignored or left on an island with projects.

Typical day at work is no one greeting you and everyone wearing their headphones at their desks. When people leave the company, you find out days or weeks later. There is no collaboration between different areas of the company. No one helps or contributes to one another. You are on your own. The most enjoyable part of the job is when you get one day of the week to work remote from home and be away from the sadness. It's no surprise this company is having problems.

Great decision!
|
Connecture is a company built on collaboration and innovation, and it's obvious in the day to day! The atmosphere is laid back but everyone is clearly working at their highest levels. This is the first workplace I have ever worked at that truly honors and respects work/life balance - do not be mistaken though; it's flexibility both ways. You are expected to do what needs to be done when needed, but encouraged to take time off when needed. I don't regret my decision at all.

Has the potential to be a great company
|
Connecture once had the opportunity to be a great company however it has allowed a management level between executives and staff to destroy employee morale and create a negative working environment overall. Project managers that "manage" tough clients are allowed to treat their teams terribly. Management knows it, HR has been brought in several times but nothing changes there except the revolving door. There is absolutely zero diversity in upper level management at this company - not a reflection of the world around the company at all which means they are missing out on vast opportunities of knowledge, inclusion and skillset.

- A typical day is fun until it becomes bad..
- no hard lines on where your responsibility starts and where it ends.
- lot of exposure. If you are willing you can be part of any team.
- Some of the folks are amazing to work with
- Some recent changes in the company are concerning, but hopefully we will come through it.
