In March the company was acquired by an investment firm and since then the "collegue-first" mindset has diminished significantly. This is to be expected of course and it is still a great place to work in certain roles. It is just a sharp contrast from how things were just a year ago. Free lunch, gym, stocked kitchen Compensation below industry average. Most of the employees were very pleasant and easy to work and get along with. There seems to be a major problem with favoritism and behind-the-scenes office-politics/gossip. If you ever get on the bad side of a few of the higher-ups, your career will be dead there, no matter what you do to try to remedy it.
