It’s genuinely rewarding to see huge improvements from a team, company, and product perspective. I would describe Contract Logix as being a dynamic and resourceful company. Over the past year or so, the company has made huge strides in improving the overall office culture. While it hasn’t been easy, it’s been great to see the positive changes in the employee’s moral and in their passion for the company. I can honestly say that I’m excited to be part of the future of what this company has to offer. I also really appreciate the positive changes and influences of the leadership team over the past year. They really are making a difference while making the business fun and interesting again. And, the new product is fantastic! New product is top shelf, new mgmt is honest and capable. The new product is turning out to be 1st rate and the company has become an excellent place to work. There is still some room for improvement, but the new leadership has taken the iterative approach beyond the dev cycle to managing all aspects of the the company. Tweaks are constantly being made. In contrast with the past several years, I have every reason to believe that the company is on the path for growth and overall success in the upcoming years. Many of these best practices have been successfully translated into its platform and are conveyed to clients in the delivery of its supporting white-glove professional services. Its recently-released second-generation product promises to combine an expanded set of client benefits provided by its legacy product with an extremely easy-to-learn, easy-to-use, and easy-to-adopt user experience built upon the latest technology stack available. Having joined and experienced the tremendous growth of four other companies of this size during my career, I can say with certainly that the future of Contract Logix is extremely bright – which was the impetus for transitioning from my long-time role on the board of directors to head up its marketing organization. Just finishing my first month here, I can’t say enough about the quality of the people who stand behind the product – on the sales side, the development side, and the implementation/professional services side. Contract Logix’ second generation product took longer than predicted to reach the maturity level the company felt necessary to offer to the marketplace. The ramp-up time needed for new, higher-pedigree salespeople to become productive also took some time. And a number of long-tenured, well-liked employees who did not reflect the company’s five core values and share the company’s vision have moved on to other opportunities. These are typical growing pains of companies at this stage of their maturity as they realign themselves prior to experiencing tremendous growth. Some managers are strong and hold their teams accountable; others may walk a little lighter which in turn can cause disparity among the employees. Overall, accountability is good for our clients; they pay a lot of money for a product, and solution that will improve their productivity, and their management is looking for a return on that investment! The company has a very liberal PTO plan and solid work environment. The future is extremely strong and bright, right now the company is going through growing pains and needs collaboration and a strong effort to get us to the next level.
