Awesome people and great company

Very talented and passionated people. Very friendly and motivated environment. They were supportive and always willing to help interns. They let interns challenge by themselves, so interns could freely speak out their ideas.

People are too busy to take care of interns in detail. If you ask any questions or feedbacks, they
will willing to arrange their time for you. But it is possible they might forget about you sometimes.

There is nothing off-the-shelf about the work they do because the field they are defining is still emerging. That means it takes a significant effort to define each opporutnity and makes it difficult to know how to prioritize until each is, in fact, defined. That is a particular management challenge.

Your peers are fantastic at this company. Company has a history of having very low turnover until recently. Really incredible projects. Cool people.
|
Extreme growing pains that seem to only worsen. Too many directors, and increasing feelings that management is out of touch with the people at the company happy to remain flat. There hasn't been a consistent HR manager in almost 2 years. We had an HR manager who actually inspired those losing faith, but she was let go within a few months and morale feels more strained than ever. Company takes for granted employees well being, especially when working on site for clients. Benefits slowly disappearing.

This company is something special, but there seems to be a diminishing sense of accountability and transparency with our growth. Focus less on the marketable nature of everything we do and more on your own core values. Communicate more. You can recognize more people's hard work without having to promote them. CG was a wonderful place to work once. I stay with (fading) hope it returns to it's former glory.

My manager cared deeply about making sure I was always learning and gave me plenty of work to learn from without micromanaging.
