Being a delivery driver is the only reason to work here, for the tips. However compensation is LESS than it was, and you're paid less than minimum while on the road. With all the delivery app options out there now, deliveries become far and fewer between. When busy, things are stressful but it is a mostly laid back atmosphere, but you can work 8+ hours without any kind of real break. There is no real communication about anything new or any problems. Equipment problems can take forever to fix or replace (ex. no hot water for more than a week). Owner is a good person, but if you butt heads with him, even if you are correct, he can make things difficult or terminate you. Management can't do much without his approval. Again, only reason to work here is to be a delivery driver for the tips. If they let you have full time hours, it can be worth it. This is especially true in the Restaurant business. Companies, such as Cottage Inn, would take the new owners money without training them directly. A new franchise owner should at least know how to make pizzas and top them. No staff member can respect new ownership without proper involvement in daily operations. His productivity and quality are the forefront of the companies foundation. Unaware of operations can lead to a quick exit, and the hierarchy of these companies, can only blame theirselves!
