I have worked for this company for three years and have grown as a person and transitioned into new roles. I cannot say enough good things about the people that make this company. The friendly competition, the on going support from colleagues would make anyone prosper. I have built on going relationships with customers and learned more than I can write. Covideo has the "open door" policy and a place for one to grow in their career. It is a rapidly growing software company, where you can learn different traits and build your skill sets. A place where you can let your personality soar, be who you are. Where you can work hard and play hard while creating lasting friendships. I love it here. Covideo is in the heart of Broadripple in a unique tall brick building. The cool office aesthetic is only topped by the hardworking-fun people that work inside of it. I work in the sales department with a team that knows what we need to do, and works hard to get that done with no need for micro-management. We work closely with our success team to ensure happy long-term clients, and have formed great working relationships with them as well. After work those who are interested will stick around for the occasional beer from our keg. One of the best and hardest aspects of the job is having the autonomy to structure your day and work load. You have the resources and support from management, but you need self discipline and drive to become successful. I enjoy my coworkers, my managers, and my work with our customers. Efforts are always recognized and rewarded. Commissions, incentives, or just surprise gifts or catered in meals. You always feel appreciated. There are a lot of intrinsic benefits too. You get a sense of accomplishment when you achieve your realistic yet challenging goals. You feel fulfilled as you help customers solve problems. Covideo provides me with constant opportunity to learn and grow. What I have learned is that you can have a culture of hard work and still enjoy it. I can trust and rely on my coworkers and management to work as hard and care as much as I do. At previous jobs, I noticed a lot of infighting and blame games. At covideo camaraderie breaks the departmental borders and titles. After hours and company events are so much fun! A typical day at work: grab some coffee and a bowl of cereal and/or fresh fruit in the kitchen. Enjoy catching up with fellow employees, especially those from different departments you may not see throughout regular work hours. Then you hit the day hard, researching customers, setting and running webinars, following up with future customers and continual consultive follow ups with current customers. As an account manager, my purpose is to grow the business with integrity and to ensure success and the best possible experience for all our customers. If you work hard, you get rewarded with a lot of freedom. flexible hours, working on the patio outside, setting up at one of the local restaurants for a change of scenery, making decisions to best help customers, amazing performance incentives, huge growth potential!
