Great environment
|
|
Truly a team atmosphere. Small company with great values and determination to save lives. Everyone has a role and expected to perform independently with support where needed. Every employee's birthday is celebrated as a group and team-building events are annually planned.
|
Possibly not the best paying company, but for being privately owned with less than 15 people working here, they have never missed a paycheck. The independence and "guided freedom" to do your job (and see results) softens the blow of sacrificing a few dollars.

Poor management, bad company culture, unethical business

Upper management are very involved and passionate about what they do. Start-up environment and have freedom to control your own destiny. CEO has unlimited amount of money to dump into this sinking ship.
If you are unqualified person, this is the best place to get a job.

Poor company culture, the company (both upper management and employees at all level) constantly need to look for a scapegoat to blame all their failures for business and personal life. "Global" company with presence in over 30 countries and only less than 15 employees mean you literally worked to death with zero benefit/vacation time and without recognition or even a simple "good job". One employee was being shorted for his/her vacation time payment when leaving the company until complaining to labor board.
Extremely toxic work environment, no sense of team, and lack of qualifying employees resulting a miserable work place. Management would do anything and at all cost to cut corner resulting many unethical practice, including over promise and under deliver goods and promises.
No HR, no system or infrastructure in place. Expect management to scream, yell, dropping "dirty language" and f bombs all the time in company meeting. Female workers are constantly being sexually harassed and spoken to with inappropriate language both in public and private environment.
Product used to be promising but destroyed by unqualified people, lack of planing and poor execution.

Hopeless, cut your losses might be the best answer or have some guts to do major changes and reorganization. Hire qualified people and stop placing unqualified people into manager and above position with zero related experience.

Unclear expectations...you will sink quickly if you are not a mind reader AND you don't fit within the clique!

The compensation was great. The product and in-process product was admirable.
|
Absolutely no training to speak of...management was disconnected and not engaging. Clique environment. Management quick to make a sacrificial lamb due to failure to train and own any accountability for performance as they are not prepared to managed to begin with.

The work environment is toxic. The lack of values and integrity is rampant. The expectation to perform miracles without any direction needs addressing. Need to work on fostering a willingness for outstanding performance in a reasonable time-frame.
