The most racist organization I've ever been affiliated with. The company has a 0% minority management team and probably will keep it that way so the good ole boy network stays in place. The overall workforce of minorities is about 4% African American, go figure.

Great Place to Intern!

-Friendly work environment. Everyone wants to get to know you and you'll make friends quickly.
-Relaxed (for the most part) management. I had a family emergency halfway through my internship and they were very open to letting me tend to it. Don't take advantage of it!
-Solid workplace for both the individual worker and group player. (you will be asked to do both types of work.)
-Interns receive "Intern Seminars" about things like health benefits, retirement, resumes, etc. They're VERY helpful!
- Great clients, and it's REALLY cool to see packaging you've worked on out in the world!
- Hands on experience in everything from idea boards for products, designing packaging, food photography, and making mockups. You'll have a solid appreciation of what goes into making food packaging by the end of this internship!
-Lots of free food! You'll never go hungry! There is also a big spice garden out back that you can pick from and take home.

-Lack of directions on some projects. Don't be afraid to ask questions, but you'll often be doing work, especially mock ups, on your own.
-Some folks wear their politics/beliefs on their sleeve.
-Inappropriate comments toward fellow internships (young women) from outside of the Creative Department ie. older male coworkers in the other sections of Cyber Graphics office. The "r" word was also surprisingly commonplace.
-Cross Training was difficult to schedule due to the sporadic influx of clients. If your college requires you to do cross training, you may have to pressure management to get the date set in stone.
-There is a time where there will be a lot of work and then no work at all. My first three months was a pretty heavy workload, then it went from 0 to 10 every other week. My advice on slow days is to ask if you can help with anything, they'll greatly appreciate it even if there is nothing!

-Please give interns time to cross train. Especially if their school work requires it!
-If there's a big mock up job, spend more time showing the interns what to do. I feel like there were plenty of mistakes we made that could have been avoided with better direction.

The Constant ability to scrutinize and question a departments process when said accuser has never stepped in that area. Compensation is below average and if you not at the top its a feeding frenzy at the bottom.
