There were things in the systems that never worked properly and were never fixed even when it was brought up to the Ceo. This led to customer related issues that was difficult to resolve. There were rumors of the Ceo suing this former employees and actively trying to ruin their careers. It shows you what type of person he really is and it created a fear culture that was toxic. The Ceo has zero leadership qualities but is very good at lying and threatening people to get his way. He was very good at selling false dreams to convince people to join the company. He would also ask for 5 star reviews as soon as we joined the company to cover up the terrible reviews you can find on various websites. My local team and Lead were amazing. The company founder and leadership do not seam to appreciate their people. They have people in place who are unkind, unfair and only about making the money. They are low-key shady and would advise me to lie to customers to keep them coming back. They would also gossip about and judge clients over Slack. I worked there for 8 months and in that time, at least 5 people left (some within a week of starting) and 5 more were hired. The team is not investing in quality employees. - Building was a warehouse with shoddy lighting and furniture. CEO has employees write positive reviews and multiple positive reviews to boost the ranking. I'm seeing how fast this company is growing. There are a few cool and kind people but not enough. Once I began to interact and work with people in different departments, I was a bit shocked to learn the truth about the company. I also experienced being around the warehouse and notice how bad conditions were. When its hot, people are sweating and there is no AC. When it’s cold, it is like a freezer. I've seen lots of big roaches in the bathroom and imagine how much there are throughout the warehouse and probably might get into some clothes or even in somebody's box. They make about 1-2 Million a month, how can't they improve their company. From running out of supplies like toilet paper to SOAP.......It is unbelievable. Another BIG con about this company is that they do not have an HR Department so if you have a complaint about something, they won't take you seriously. Unless it’s about THEFT. They will surely take action right away which is hilarious because when I first started working there on our first location, there were managers telling us to take clothing because they were going to throw it away, which was happening for a while throughout July of 2018 which I guess the CEO finally realized the inventory was going down and made sure they work on security. From there I lost all respect to the CEO because that only shows the he cares more about the money instead of his workers. How the CEO is, he has no trust, yet he has no idea the type of managers he’s got in the company. Throughout my time here working in “Dailylook” I’ve seen a lot of favoritism. There are a lot of people who have worked there for a very long time and trying to grow yet the “Director of fulfillment” picks the ones who are new and also mainly the “pretty” girls he secretly hits on. Another unprofessional human being for the company that one day the company will face a lawsuit if he continues this unacceptable behavior. I am 100 percent sure many girls stay quiet for the sake of their job. I’ve meet him when we would have meetings with all the departments and he did approach me with a flirtatious look on his face that made me uncomfortable. I’ve also seen with my very eyes that he went in his office with a young girl then as I passed by his office, I see him whispering in her ear in the corner of his office which was really concerning to me. What is really going on in this company? I fear for some people there, yet I have lost all respect for many. On my final days working here a lot of people change, there were lots of gossip and very shady people.
