A lot of admins start as temps through the college’s preferred placement agency and work their way up through several departments, which is what I did. The 2009 recession took my job though.

This WAS a wonderful place to work. Boss was exceptional until last year I worked there we had a new boss. Last year the moral went down considerably.

Working part time was great. The position was somewhat fast-paced, but not overly demanding. Coworkers and office environment were great. Dartmouth is a good place to work.

The hardest part of the job is using "homegrown" systems that do not communicate with each other or have the ability to adjust to the needs of the users (employees) in a timely manner.
The most enjoyable part of the job is working with multiple individuals and groups to provide education/training to future doctors of the world.
