There were many smart and talented people at DAZN however the majority have been made redundant, left of their own accord or will be looking to do so in the near future I imagine.

It’s hard to put into words what a toxic company DAZN has become under Sandeep’s ‘leadership’. I’m still shocked that in 2024 a company will allow the level of shouting and bullying that occurs at DAZN. There is no point in attempting to have an opinion if it doesn’t fall in line with Sandeep’s. Creativity and a passion for the product is now non-existent and has led to a low quality product with poor customer experience.
There have been many, many rounds of redundancies with very little reasoning behind the ‘business’ decisions, but it’s clear DAZN are prioritising recruitment in low cost locations where they can have people working around the clock and not have to deal with HR complaints. Of course SVP hires are still made in Europe but coincidentally these are mostly old buddies of Shay and Sandeep.
You’ll be expected to work very long hours, weekends and holidays, you can never truly switch off and from the moment you open your eyes the ‘urgent’ requests are waiting for you. In the end if you value your mental health I would steer clear of DAZN.
