I think for a retail job it actually is a pretty good deal. Make your own hours, pay is competitive. If you love skincare then it's especially great. The discount is wonderful. The management isn't great nationally which they need to work on.

At first Deciem seemed like my dream job and I loved learning about the brand, the science of skincare, and helping people build their regimens. However, there is zero tolerance for mistakes made by new employees, a culture of dobbing in your colleagues, and if you are not deemed to be in management's inner circle, god help you. I left after three months and never looked back.

Lots to memorize and learn but I would say it's good practice for future jobs. It can be stressful because people come in with unexpected questions about skincare, but other than that it was good.
