The company operates in an interesting field (food and digital) and has an innovative business model, that itself makes it a fun place and project to work for.
Managers are approachable, and the people are in general welcoming, open minded and kind, making it a very friendly and fun environment to be in.
There are social activities like sports, after works, BBQ's on the office terrace, annual parties, yoga and language classes.
The company is medium/ small and it's easy to get to know everyone (including the office dogs).

Since the company is still fairly young and not very big, career growth might take longer than in a bigger corporation. But they do have a proper career path put in place to facilitate this whenever possible.

I have worked at this company for 5 years and I can only say good words. If you are proactive and interested in different fields Degusta Box is the perfect place where you can work with different people from different departments and trying yourself in different fields.

From the marketing side, it could be challenging to manage the advertising budget, there is not much space to play around. Each action has to be very well calculated and analyzed, which for me was one of the most interesting parts of the job, so it's not necessarily a disadvantage.

- Very chilled office space. It's easy to make "friends", everyone is approachable, laid back and like minded. Most of the employees who work here are really passionate about their jobs
- There is a hierarchy but you never feel the pressure of it, everyone is free to contribute to any project and submit ideas, at any level.
- Flexible work hours
- In general they are making some nice efforts to make employees feel good at work which isn't the case everywhere (work events, private healthcare, free food etc.)
- Interns get a lot of responsibilities so it's a nice hands on experience for young students
- People get things done here which means you can learn a lot about how a small start up can turn into a serious international business
- CEOs have a clear vision of where they want their business to be

- Depending on roles salaries are not always competitive
- Management can sometimes struggle to take big decisions and this affects the company's growth in my opinion
- Depending on role, there's a lack of career growth / opportunities which can be an issue for people with ambition or who just want to grow

Great work/life balance - Totally flexible working hours (you manage your own time), totally flexible holidays (you decide how and when to take them)
Great company culture and values - Colleagues are the best, everyone works hard but has a good and positive vibes, everybody (even managers) is happy to help if you need to work with other departments, manager always listens all opinions and encourages a committed team.
Very nice benefits - yoga in the office, flexible working hours and holidays, fruit and a lot of snacks, company bbq's, spanish and english lessons.
Good career opportunities - The freedom to deliver your work is very high, in the end the results and the solutions provided are what counts. Also the company is doing business in 6 countries and growing, so that always brings good opportunities to develop yourself.
Management - Very professional, data driven when deciding about the future

The only con would be what I consider is an average salary. Not bad for young people but for older workers and being in an expensive city like Barcelona can feel a little short.
