Not the type of work that I enjoyed
|
I wanted to try changing careers and this was not the type of work that I enjoyed. The focus on being cordial with the customers while also being completely accurate was the hardest part of the job. I must give credit to people who enjoy banking as the job is more tedious than I expected. I was not happy with the management and some of the staff.

Since I left, every face in the Wilmington and New Castle branch has changed. People who have given 8-15yrs of service are no longer there. The company has changed over the years but still a good place to work and get your feet wet at an entry level position.

Limited growth
|
Del-One has made some changes over the years and some of the changes were not beneficial to employees. The members are great but Sr. Management is not. There's no diversity within the company at all. The company has great benefits and perks but the support from management is absent. Some employees (non-managers) are treated as managers and (managers) are often treated as regular staff. Diversity is so absent in this atmosphere that members notice and unfortunately have vocalized their dissatisfaction.

Del one is a fantastic place to work. All of the employee's I have met so far have been so friendly and welcoming. They have always been there to help, without making me feel intimidated and have been open to me asking as many questions as I need answered! I really hope I never have to leave this place!
