They have several perks for employees and gets to know everyone personally. The environment is laid back but also hard working. Everyone has been friendly and doesn't get annoyed with all the questions I ask! The desk that I sit at feels segregated from other workers. They have weekly staff meetings that allowed me to see what their culture and relationships are with like with one another. Even though the discussion was a bit over my head in the beginning, by me going every week, I was able to learn about who was doing what, reporting to whom, and how to engage with them. In the end of my internship I was able to share what I have been learning by shadowing and working along side them as well. Its been difficult finding another actual job that compares to Deliver Media to be honest. It was a great first experience for an Intern. They set the standard high on where I want to go next. A tip would be - dont treat this Internship just like an easy thing you are doing for credit - work hard and communicate with everyone. Who knows, I heard they have offered other people full time jobs after their internships. I'd work at Deliver Media for over a year and made such wonderful friendships. As a company that can sometimes feel like a start-up, you really become part of a team that puts their blood, sweat, and tears into everything. The owner frequently pays for dinners out, weekly massages, fun events for Christmas, and is an overall wonderful man. If you're someone who wants to really contribute to a team and work with and under the CEO, this is a good company to work for. Compensation was okay. I'd say to always negotiate your salary.. and that's really with every position/company. Must be a "doer" as owner likes things to be accomplished, quickly and at high quality. You have to understand that every company you work for will have their ups and downs. Late nights, different (and clashing) personalities, rough days... it's what comes with the industry. I can probably count on my hand the amount of times we had to stay late - but it is appreciated. It's expected and nothing out of the ordinary. They have a pool table, XBOX 360, Wii U, and Beer 30 on Fridays. They all had their little cliques, weren't open to change or anything new, and backstabbed.
