Horrible culture full of high school like clicks at the management level

The work is fine and the platform is great - many of the people who work there are very smart and talented, but the management is non-existent.. and sleep together, and share drugs and have their favorites, and disrespect internal team relationships (steal deal from one another).

Was a great company but lack of product innovation and eng skills allowed competitors to leap frog our technology

CEO was amazing but due to the board they started to cut corners to appear to be more profitable. They fire anyone that has been there for longer then 4 years and replace them with kids who will work for none livable wages.
Huge amount of turn over on the product team. Poor product leadership and zero diversity. Very much an Oracle boys club where product thinks they know more then customers.
Sales teams are very good, it's a miracle they were able to generate revenue with zero product innovation for 3 years.

A refreshing change in the office workplace
|
For the support team, everyday is basically the same thing; make a cup of coffee, check email, check new case tickets, start working on case by case. However, there were some notable changes. The coffee machine was branded with the Starbucks logo. It could dispense dark, medium, light, and decaf roast. It also dispensed hot water and hot cocoa. There was a water dispensing mechanism that resembled a long, chrome shift stick of a car. The mechanism dispensed cold, hot, and sparkling water. Just to name a few, the refrigerators were stocked with yogurt, string cheese, wax protected cheese, sparkling water, soda and diet soda, and more. There was a snack area that had chips, candy, energy bars, and more. Every Friday a catering company came and there was free lunch for all.
Lastly, there were community scooters (the kind you use your feet) where employees can go from point A to B swiftly.

Cutthroat startup doesn't value its employees

They fired people way to easily. At the time I worked there this company was way too competitive and profit focused. That describes a lot of startups in SF of course. I quit here after seeing others let go, and shortly after they fired and outsourced the whole dev team.
