It's a group collaborative in ensuring that everyone hits goals, manages accounts and sees to it that the business continues to grow. - The transition to working from home during the Shelter in Place was seamless. I always felt supported in whatever capacity I needed. There were already well-established lines of communication between team members and systems in place which enabled us to correspond without missing a beat. - The Managers/Directors/VP'/CEO/CRO really stepped up to the plate to allow for training to continue for the employees who started at Demand Local shortly before the SIP. - There is an emphasis on work/life balance. Something that is often brought up when applying for a job, which often times doesn't pan out. At Demand Local they are really good at ensuring your personal life is not overrun with the demand to constantly be "on" and available. - I'm not exaggerating when I say that every single person that works at Demand Local is kind and fun. - Because the VP's and Senior Management invest in their team members, there is room to grow at this company. You are definitely valued here. The interview process was very holistic in determining my best capabilities and passions; I can’t thank the leadership team enough for enabling me to sculpt out this role. It’s been a rewarding journey since I started working with the team. I truly enjoy the autonomy I’ve been given, as it allows me to take full-ownership and motivates me to perform at my best. Everyone I’ve met so far is extremely knowledgeable and polite to talk to. I’ve met some of the smartest and most humble colleagues I’ve ever worked with. Everyone in the team was willing to teach, share, and help each other. - Great managers who are experts in the business and also care about their employees. I worked directly with the VP of Sales and Director of Business Development; and they are great coaches that have sharpen me to be a strong employee. They showed me that my work was impactful and made sure that I had the help that I needed to finish my project. I can say that I went to work happy everyday because of them. - You will learn a lot, everyday. Demand Local always keep up with the newest practices in digital marketing so prepare to learn everyday and catch up. - The office is located 5 mins walk away from Bart station but you'll have to walk by a Safeway that's always smell like greasy fried chicken. Demand Local is supportive when it comes to growth and learning if you are willing. Everyone is extremely friendly and the company is built on team work and collaboration, I never feel like there are office politics like other companies I've worked at-- and there are little to no personal conflicts. There are many events that are planned throughout the year to look forward to. Upper management is also very approachable if you have any issues and want to speak up. Our office has tons of snacks, drinks, and a beautiful space to boot-- We're located right off of Embarcadero. I've been at DL for 3 years and I couldn't be more happy! Everyone at DL has helped put time into my personal growth. There has been so much opportunity for me in a short amount of time, all it took was being proactive. I'm grateful to work for such an amazing company and have colleagues that are like family.
