Lots of over time... 12 hours a day, 7 days per week.

Only paid time and a half on Sundays, The family (Demmer) made millons of the backs of there workers but gave the workers little in return.(a turkey on Thanks Giving)

Good place to work if you have no other frame of reference.

The company does have pretty decent benefits including health, dental, vision, educational, vacation, etc. if you have the time to use them properly.
|
No team work. It is all for one and all for one. This was a horrible experience working for this company. They spout their quality which is at best marginal. They build tooling incorrectly and wonder why they can't produce good parts. The bulk of their inspection process is using "Certified" Tape Measures. Maybe that is changing now but, with a plant nearly void of work and in the words of a famous politician "What difference at this point does it make?"

Demmer is a company that felt like a family run and owned business. I worked with a lot of good people while I was there. the apprenticeship program and 401 k are a huge plus.
