Sales is a consultative sales process, which is long and takes a lot of time to build rapport and work with them. The owner and president is a recognized leader and innovator in the industry and runs a tight ship at the office. I have been in sales and marketing for over 45 years and have never seen a more cohesive and effective selling process designed specifically for the L&D business. The company has put the systems, processes and resources in place to make an energetic, self-paced and positive attitude sales person a success in a limited amount of time. With industry competitive compensation plans and a friendly and positive, results-based work environment, I would recommend working there to anyone who has the talent and perseverance to jump in and give it a go. Sometimes the systems and processes get a little complicated but in the end they work to produce the best results for the company and tend to drive the best performance from the sales team. The projects are unique and you get to be creative helping the person craft their vision of the training project - Base pay is good and you get commission for any project you sell - Company is competitive in the industry and recognized fairly often If you are not familiar with the industry it may feel like information overload. The company does provide plenty of resources via videos, articles, and recorded webinars for internal training purposes. Should be comfortable with some self-guided learning and asking questions. It's a small company and therefore relies on effective communication to ensure internal processes flow as necessary. Like most work environments, this is a work-in-progress. Not really any, its a small company, so you are expected to take on multiple rolls.
