We are excited to add an experienced Curl Coach Educator to our growing team. As a Cosmetology Licensed Curl Coach, you will facilitate a variety of professional and retail education events and classes, providing product and styling insight, business support and retailing tips to industry professionals. You will work closely with the DevaCurl team, professional distribution network, and retail partners while cultivating personal connections and delivering a clear understanding of how to communicate the DevaCurl message. Our Curl Coaches also teach our proprietary styling programs and become the DevaCurl expert in their own salons.
Who you are:
Licensed in Cosmetology
Proud carrier of DevaCurl products in your salon
Hold a current cosmetology license or similar certification in your state of residence
Experience working directly with clients and customers in a salon setting
Have reliable transportation and flexible schedule
Willingness to travel up to three hours from your home
Maintain an active email address
What you'll do:
Provide all styling equipment necessary for facilitating scheduled classes and events
Dedicate at least one Monday per month to teaching classes
Teach and present in classroom and retail settings
Upon completion of the Product Pro and Curl Coach modules, you will create a VidCruiter profile and submit a five-minute video sharing some personal information (specific topics are listed on VidCruiter) within two weeks. Videos are reviewed by DevaCurl Education Department, and qualified candidates are moved on to a virtual interview. Candidates that complete the live digital interview successfully will then be set up to shadow* with a local Curl Coach or Sales Representative before being deployed individually.
*Shadowing is done at no fee for the new educator. DevaCurl will pay for mileage to and from event.

You will work closely with the DevaCurl team, professional distribution network, and retail partners while cultivating personal connections and delivering a clear understanding of how to communicate the DevaCurl message. Our Curl Coaches also teach our proprietary styling programs and become the DevaCurl expert in their own salons.
Who you are:
Licensed in Cosmetology
Proud carrier of DevaCurl products in your salon
Hold a current cosmetology license or similar certification in your state of residence
Experience working directly with clients and customers in a salon setting
Have reliable transportation and flexible schedule
Willingness to travel up to three hours from your home
Maintain an active email address
What you'll do:
Provide all styling equipment necessary for facilitating scheduled classes and events
Dedicate at least one Monday per month to teaching classes
Teach and present in classroom and retail settings
Upon completion of the Product Pro and Curl Coach modules, you will create a VidCruiter profile and submit a five-minute video sharing some personal information (specific topics are listed on VidCruiter) within two weeks. Videos are reviewed by DevaCurl Education Department, and qualified candidates are moved on to a virtual interview. Candidates that complete the live digital interview successfully will then be set up to shadow* with a local Curl Coach or Sales Representative before being deployed individually.
*Shadowing is done at no fee for the new educator. DevaCurl will pay for mileage to and from event.
