It is a small company so there is an opportunity to get to know your co workers.
|
The office is old and not very clean. It is embarrassing to have clients at the office. The office space is small and the desks are cramped.
The owner, Mr. Diab, has given the day to day running of the company to an executive team. While this is not unusual, there is a pattern of in appropriate conduct within the executive team and their direct reports. There are direct reports and supervisors conducting relationships outside of the office and this situation is occurring with more than one executive. This type of behavior reflects badly on the company and on the owner given his philanthropic pursuits.
There is little management accountability. There is very little coaching given to team members and those that underperform are not addressed and or coached, leaving the situation for others to attempt to manage. There are executive team members who have the reputation of being difficult and their behavior is simply accepted with a shrug. Given the above, leading by example is not a moto that can / should be followed here.
Opportunities for advancement are limited.

Assuming that Mr Diab is not aware of the situation concerning the inappropriate relationships then he needs to take back the reigns of his company, engage perhaps a 3 rd party and conduct frank discussions, re design and re align the executive team.

For quite sometime, I have been working as a part of India Team. And as per current experience I can undoubtedly say that this is one of the best company to work for. If an employee is a hard working & a smart person, he\she will get all the possible opportunities and will be provided with all the support that can be thought of. Best part is that there is no profile restriction. Even though roles and responsibilities are black and white still if an employee wants to learn something new then managers are very flexible and proactive in giving the requested role. There are not many companies that help with certifications but Diabsolut does. Irrespective of the cost of certifications , Diabsolut takes a step ahead and invest in employees. I would say they truly value people\employees over anything else.
