Understanding of the "Learning Curve", Very Upbeat Environment, Team Approach

- Typical work day was completing customer jobs. Range from large banner prints to mailings.
- Learned how to use multiple printers, binding, paper materials, customer service, how to set jobs up for print, how to value and charge for time, and how to understand what the customer is looking for.
- Not clear structure of management, all seen as critical roles.
- Hardest part: Mass mailings, they get tedious.
- Most Enjoyable: Getting to talk and collaborate with other employee (very small team)

If you'd like to work in Soviet-like environment DE is what you are looking for. Poor work environment, bad management, no growth, fable product and fable service provisioning. This is not the place you should stay for long and you'd better to avoid of here at all.

Digitaledge can be a good stepping stone for young people looking to get into the IT field. You will learn a lot and get access to all sorts of technologies to work with. The problem is that they expect for you to learn all these new things within a short time frame or else. The jog is highly stressful, on call 24/7/365 is not good for your well being.

A good company that lost their way
|
Digitaledge when I was first hired was a great place to work. A relaxed work atmosphere and the chance to work with emerging technologies and always learning new things. Unfortunately somewhere along the way the goal of the company seemed to shift to trying to make as much money as possible no matter the cost. The owners of the company took more of a hands off approach to running the day to day activities of the company and left it in the hands of people who drove down morale and made it more of like jail than a job.

-You check in with your work card and go straight to work. After you check in you go straight to your supervisor and they assign what you are doing for the entire shift.
-The faster you work, the more work you get done. You must work fast with quality.
-Very organized with planning the days and hours when you work
-Very nice people
-Waking up early
-Nothing too busy or crazy. The tasks are simple ex counting papers, folding boxes, organizing flyers, closing letters
