High rate of turn over with no notice
|
I received an outstanding performance review and was let go the next week. In my short 4.5 year tenure with the company there have been mass exodus's and layoffs. Anytime a new CTO/VP of Engineering comes in the entire leadership team underneath gets removed, no matter their value or use to the company. This happen twice in my short tenure. I made it through the first as I was not in leadership yet but did not make it through the next.
This makes this company VERY poor for job security and reliability.

Lack of culture and a backbone
|
Onboarding consisted of a half an hour meeting with HR to go over the benefits information and then I was on my own.
There is very little diversity in this company and honestly not much culture at all. People don't make small talk unless they have been there for a long time and know each other, which makes it really hard for someone new to get to know people.
Management is highly disorganized and people avoid conflict like the plague. Instead of properly setting expectations they just avoid the conversation, causing even more strife later on. There are some smart developers and people here, but very little or no mentorship or room for growth for someone who wants to grow a career.
