There’s tons of perks if you’re into attending events and concerts. They make you feel valued for the most part, and it’s rewarding to see your hard work impact a growing company. Just as someone else stated in their review, dostuff is a great company to intern for— however, working full time is a different story. You are expected to work way more hours than what your salary and role equates to, which is fine, however there’s not enough higher up support, resources, or a fair salary to make it worth it. There seems to be a lot of petty drama within the company, which again is a result of poor upper management . They want to act like everything is amazing and great, which is could be, but unfortunately they’re ignoring a lot of the tweaks that are in need of some major attention. Cannot say the same of my experience after transitioning to a paid employee. I'll start with this: you will 100% end up working far more hours than you are paid to work. You don't really have any time completely off work with this type of job. Unfortunately that is not the worst part about working for this company. Management is based out of Austin, and they do not have it together. The employees are extremely petty and unprofessional. There are (at least) a few people who will intentionally lie to clients to essentially steal a signing bonus from another employee. Management is also either extremely disorganized or just couldn't care less about their employees. I went unpaid for over a month (right before the holidays) despite reaching out to resolve the issue multiple times per week. Sometimes I received responses, other times I just didn't hear from anyone. At all. I loved my time at the company and it was a great stepping stone for my career.
