Very innovative and forward thinking company. It is rare to see such cohesion among a team, particularly in a small company seeking way of redefining a completely new and highly innovative way to approach an industry (in this case mobile app development).
I can't say enough how seriously sharp the people of Dropsource are. The product is also fundamentally sound and easy to build upon, so we are not saddled with broken, legacy product that slows down innovation.
Work environment is flexible with the ability to come into the office or work remotely. I generally come into the office because I like the collaboration, but I also like the flexibility to work remotely when I need to. Great infrastructure and tools in place to allow that!
Cohesion and trust between the team members is also a key positive aspect.
Dropsource is going places!

Typical of startups, there is a lot of work to do, but that comes with the territory. It is helpful that there isn't a lot of "flailing" since all of the team members are of the same vision.

Flexible working hours, inclusive management approach with opportunities to be involved in future direction, a talented team building something unique. As the only female member of what's currently still a small team, I've never felt anything other than respected and supported by my colleagues. For a startup I'd say the team is relatively diverse in terms of age, so a good mix of experience and enthusiasm.

The startup environment is definitely not for everyone, can be intense at times and is obviously unpredictable in many ways, but a unique opportunity to be involved in something new.

The first Pro I always look for is the people. Dropsource has a very talented group, and we are friends as much as coworkers. This is the first and likely most important thing you should know. These are brilliant people that are very much worth your time to know. There is also a thirst to learn / try new things as well, for example the bi-weekly sessions where talks are given on new tech.
Dropsource enjoys a flexible work environment through solid remoting technologies including a cross platform VPN, google docs / shared tools, and tech like Google hangouts for high quality video/audio/sharing to enable people from all over the world to work together easily. The emphasis is on what you do, not where you are... solid priorities.
Dropsource leverages many current technologies as they make sense to our infrastructure including languages like Scala, Swift, Node, and big data technology for resiliency, scale, and opportunity. We are in a cloud CI style environment with a heavy emphasis on automation and testing. All of this is being used to create an evolutionary platform that will empower coders and many others going forward to drastically expedite their development.
We receive the benefit from hiring good people of being able to trust them. So if you suggest / want to try a new technology or process if is very simple to get into the backlog. If you are an insatiable technologist this is the "crack" that big companies will just never be able to provide... the bicycle instead of the bulldozer. This is the freedom to be truly agile. Best yet, there is usually excitement from others about the changes.
And... just because a company is in startup mode doesn't mean you have to eat an apple a day as your medical plan. Dropsource provides better benefits than I have had offered at some large companies including the often overlooked things like 401K, dental, identity, extra conditions like cancer and decent life etc.
On a personal note, we look to provide a solid business and have the talent to do it... and are aware and concerned with employees and culture... its not just about the job... Dropsource is actively trying to cultivate a good environment through getting talented people on board and they support them very well.
To wrap up... this is a startup, which some might think of as a risk. But, startup size also provides several strengths... schedule flexibility, closeness of the employees, ease of communication between all layers of the company, flexibility with technology, a higher degree of transparency, support and resources from management / founders, and an intoxicating pace. Using those strengths the company has already met, survived, and grown through a number of normal startup challenges.
Its a very exciting place to work, and has a terrific horizon to point the bow of our ship!

While I listed several pros below, these barely tell the story. I've worked for many startups, and Dropsource (aka Queue Software) is a breath of fresh air. With a young leadership team, very impressive technology, and investors who fully support the founders, it has the right stuff. It's not a big company with big company policies and all the fixins you get with a larger company. An early stage startup is not for everyone. Not everyone has the gut for it. The stamina for it. The toughness. If you do, if you've got what it takes, Dropsource has all the right ingredients to be a part of something exciting, to be a part of a tribe with a mission and passion. It's a young leadership team, who've proven to be open-minded, learn from mistakes, and literally every week they get smarter and more focused. The platform has tremendous potential and the future is very bright. With any startup, you've got to be able to turn it up to 11 when required, and work a demanding schedule and execute fast, but at the same time the company has a culture that respects individuality and encourages work/life balance.
