This does lead to job security as long as you don't have any inclination to move up. Supervisors tend to hold onto their good workers while promoting out those they prefer to be rid of. Great place to work. Drawback was being an only child and not enough PTO to cover. Lost job because of 2 critically ill parents and not enough time. Otherwise , great work place. The rate of pay in my opinion should be much higher. Growth should be faster and key employees should be rewarded more often. Managers should acknowledge their employees more and help make the work schedule fair and beneficial to the staff. Great team and peers and experience is good to acquire here. I had great coworkers and a boss who cared about me and valued me, which can be hard to find. The administration acknowledges that the office is seriously understaffed, but they continue to pour resources in the faculty, growing their numbers without increasing the size of the support staff team. As a result, the staff routinely work well past the end of the workday, and on weekends. I recently worked most of the Thanksgiving break.
