- Round after round of layoffs
- Pivots business model every 3-4 years
Some horror stories:
1) CEO pushed out hired COO who was trying to create more structure as opposed to the existing fratty culture
2) Frequently allowing operations team to be verbally abused by clients
3) One particular manager who did not allow an employee to go to her mom's wedding and another employee to go get a checkup following a car accident
4) Underpays H1B employees, when they're already underpaid (some not breaking 6 figures for tech roles)
5) Promised job security only to fire more than half the company a week later
