I like working for Einstein, but they are too laid back. People gets away with so much before action is taken. In my department, they hire people to help me on 3-11, but I end up doing most of the work by myself because they allow people to do whatever they want.

Easy to advance but comes at a price

This is not an easy place to work. There are benefits, like really easy to take PTO, scheduling, etc but this place has awful management. Lots of room for growth due to high nursing turnover.

too many issues to count

In a quick search, you can find that they've historically underpaid nurses (red flag number one). Nurses had to strike for better raises, etc. Secondly, you will never *not* feel like just a number here. Coworkers are amazing but management literally does not care about you at all. Very clear it's all about the bottom line and having someone there to work the shift. Must use PTO for holidays..and if an immediate family member passes you only get 3 days off. Lots of positions that can very well do their jobs from home are not permitted to, even in a pandemic. Multiple people sharing an office space when they're fully capable of working from home but just not allowed to.

I spent multiple years working at Einstein, truly some of the best years of my career early on. The past two years have been a downward spiral. With constant rumors of Jefferson taking over it felt like most managers were resigned to come in and get their checks with little care fore the people working with them. Multiple problems were brought to supervisors' attention all the way up to the Director that were ignored without any follow up despite constant resurgences. People with under a year experience are now senior officers because turnover is so bad. If you are motivated and have half a brain you can move up the ranks a little bit.
