I was an RA at The Ranch from 2012 to 2015 and at first it was a dream come true, and I loved Elements' leadership. Then suddenly things started going south, with more and more demanded from the lowest paid staff, and layoffs and cuts to the programs and staff that made the facility unique,

Lovely setting, cutting edge therapies used, some coworkers were awesome
|
Pay for the "front line" after hours staff too low.

Confusing

I loved my job at the elements. But when management changed what used to be ok was no longer ok as far as rules and regulations. Some people could get away with whatever and others had to watch their Ps and Qs. Definitely favorites in work place and definitely 2faced supervisor and work colleagues. It takes a while to learn your job duties and yet still unclear your job duties

This company began with great vision and people with ethics and passion. Then shareholders and investors got involved; brought in people who did not understand this is Behavioral Health and not "Product Management" which completely RUINED the culture and mission of the company. So very sad

Working here was a great experience because as a toxicology lab, I saw first hand, how people's lives were changed. As employees, everyone was always willing to help each other grow and succeed. The hardest part of this job, was when we were notified that we would be laid off.

No support from upper management. Did what they asked, only to find management working against us.
|
Poor communication. No backing the staff for decisions they were asked to carry out by management. No immediate addressing of personnel issues. Let new employees complain about seasoned employees. Senior employees given poor performance evals without any idea of an issue. Manager said employees were supported. Felt my job was a game of “one upmanship” with manager having to prove superiority.
