Management gets frustrated when you don't know what you are doing. - They will expect you to research on your own time. You will have no time to research during work because it's a fast-paced environment. Something is always happening. - You need to be a self-starter - You need to know everything that you've applied for and be great at it! Or else, the high expectation will bite you. - You will be expected to learn new things at their pace, not yours. Their standards and baseline knowledge is the starting point. Yours is not. - Most rockstars can't seem to look back to see how they started so they'll have high expectations of you when you start because they're at the top already. They'll probably compare themselves to you, so you need to be always on top of everything and need to anticipate, need to future think what they might expect of you. Disappointments can easily be seen when you can't meet their requirements. If you are really great (not good) at what you do, and you really understand all the concepts, and you have a great (again not good) understanding of your job foundation, this company is for you. The hardest part of the job is when you don't know what to do (perhaps not yet anyway), but they might already expect you to know beforehand, and sadly, there's no communication in between. And if there was, they might have no time to wait for you, as you should have already known it --- chicken and egg... although we already know that EGGS came first based on the Darwinian evolution. But I digress. - Nice people (from the facade, of course, really can't tell if genuine). - Pension plan available. - Clean pantry, free soda and coffee with syrups.
