Cut throat, no job security - if your a pharmacist looking to get into managed care avoid this place at all costs - outsourcing all positions - upper management has no clue what’s going on or any pulse on the department - would fail any CMS audit - you will not be recognized for your hard work, instead just be given more work even if you have to work 18 hour days - there is no department left, however work load has not decreased - stay far away, current leadership investing zero resources in member pharmacy benefits

Great pay; lots of stress
|
Sales manager in Hudson Valley only cares about sales and has created a very non-compliant work environment. Recently, he instructed the team to solicit sales kits to interested prospects prior to AEP and to pick up signed completed kits on 10/15. This is a clear violation of CMS regulations. He also has his team doing 10 minute enrollments during street marketing, which is another CMS violation. If he likes you, then you are good. If he doesn’t like you, then he will find a way to fire you or make you miserable so that you will just resign.

the voice to joint venture with another company, the name of the company is GHI., it is a company with a very good standing company. most of the enrollment is the government employee. Starting from eight thirty in the
morning we are going to the prepare the meeting and we got the opportunity the raise our questions during the meeting and I believe it is
very good arrangement, most of the time the questions will be answered. however,, sometimes it will not. after the meeting, then we are at the individual group meeting by our supervisor. This is how they operate. When I go out for enrollment, most of the time I will receive the calls from my associates, they will let me know where is locations and telephone numbers of the clients. this is the reason why I amso lucky to ge t the numbers.

I was a contract seasonal employee, my overall experience was pretty good

I was a seasonal employee from an employment agency sent on a contract assignment, so I cannot give a detailed description on the internal operations of this company, but my time there was informative, I learnt more about the health insurance industry, and managed care in particular, and was able to complete my assignment successfully, with the help of the my managers, and peers.

Too political and its either you are liked or not. Employees are afraid to speak out or take risks. Some employees spend a lot of time day-trading when the bosses are not around or not looking. No room for innovation and lots of CYA (Cover your A**). You'll succeed if all you want is to get paid and to look busy.
