For the most part, I’ve enjoyed my time working here. Love the work-life balance and welcoming community. There are opportunities for growth, depending on the area you’re in. In my house I work with 4 individuals who were treated like gum off their shoes. Too many med errors to many are being sent out to the hospital and if you go to management they don’t care. private:emoryuniversity https://www.indeed.com/cmp/emory-university/reviews Dec 11th, 2020 12:00AM Open Open Open Emory University Project Manager Atlanta, GA USA Good Place to start - great benefits Great benefits, lots of opportunity to move around to different groups; hard to advance your career. Very supportive and flexible work environment. Depending on the manager or director you are under, this will impact the work culture. I've had one great director, and one horrible director. HR or school leadership does nothing about horrible managers or directors. Very discouraging. 0.0 0.0 3.0 3.0 3.0 3.0 3.0 3.0 Jan 21st, 2021 12:46PM Mar 20th, 2021 01:04PM Emory University

The lack of organization makes getting anything done hard, and short term solutions are always picked over fixing deeper issues. 0.0 0.0 3.0 3.0 1.0 3.0 3.0 1.0 Jan 21st, 2021 12:46PM Mar 20th, 2021 01:04PM Emory University

Very unsafe and very Covid 19 friendly. I actually quit after 6 days over concerns for my health. There is a big power struggle between the Director and lower management.Mens bathroom in engineering was nasty with no soap ,paper towels and the toilet was turned off at the time .The Adminstrative assistant was very nasty and on a power trip .I really was disappointed and no one would help or return my phone calls. private:emoryuniversity https://www.indeed.com/cmp/emory-university/reviews Sep 17th, 2020 12:00AM Open Open Open Emory University Computer Engineer Atlanta, GA USA Typical example of PC Emory University is a typical example of excessive PC culture, hiding behind a highly corrupt and biased environment. There are no promotions from within unless the person fits a certain profile and discrimination based especially on gender is rife. If one looks at the 10,000 ft picture, the place might appear diverse but in reality it is comprised of multiple islands of non-inclusive departments. At Emory truth and justice always take a step back to politics and most of the management acts as if they are god's gift to the their fields. There you either comply and let yourself be humiliated by superiors carrying a smile on their arrogant faces or get pushed out.Good luck. 0.0 0.0 2.0 2.0 1.0 2.0 4.0 1.0 Jan 21st, 2021 12:46PM Mar 19th, 2021 08:02PM Emory University
