The project in which I was had the worst onsite manager who just sits on top of you and pushing you to impossible targets the clients set without consulting the dev team,understaffed the team citing budget but agrees to tight deadlines,worst thing was the manager lectured me to not give importance to work life balance, seriously who talks like that? Worst work experience ever, not sure about other projects so can't comment on them.

It is a service company in general and medium sized one and the culture is more open than hierarchial.
There is a feedback system, where we have quarterly meeting for all and in general SVP is approachable over the desk.
Salary Component is straightforward(except a compulsory(reduced) food component for the afternoon food and snacks compared to others where we have sodexo(anyhow food quality is reasonable..)) and disbursal on time.
Work Timings are flexible (but it is mostly project/product specific). Joining & relieving procedures are fine (I left once and rejoined back as well)
Freedom to take project specific decisions & technical suggestions/take ownership & good place to grow technically.
The internal/external applications for managing Leave/HR/IT/Finance etc are decent & scheduled trainings happen as well..
My Assignments are agile based and having daily work and not stressed.
Team Outing with family every year is a good one.

45 hours weekly in writing as compared to 40 hours in general for IT Companies, even though they are not strict on practicing that or in general it takes.
