Most of your day will be spent doing data entry, answering emails, and answering phone calls. There are a lot of office politics to deal with, and if you're not "in" with the right people, you will often be looked over.

Great team, terrible culture

Long hours, unappreciative bosses (unless you get a really good one which is rare), competitive and stressful. You get paid well for assistants in the industry, but definitely not enough to compensate for the toxic work culture.

Love my career at WME, but was layed off due to Covid. Would return but not going to do the drive again. Very busy and long days at times, but free coffee and food helped a lot.
Great people in the company who appreciate what I brought to the table.

The only downside is the workplace culture can feel too elementary, and at times highly toxic.
