Nice downtown location. Friendly staff. Each job that comes through is different from the last, so you wouldn't suffer from repetitive syndrome.

Management is unbelievably passive-aggressive, lots of "no worries" emails followed by awfully nasty follow-ups. A good job overall, but get ready for an about-face reprimand at any given moment.
Also, mgmt is absolutely not flexible on hours.

Most of our team works remotely (or on-site for specific clients), so this may be seen as a con to those who prefer a traditional office environment. However, we do have an office space within WeWork Congress, which is awesome to work at if you don't mind the downtown commute.

Everyone is friendly, helpful and knowledgable. If anyone asks a question within the office, heads pop up ready and willing to help. Communication is good between co-workers and managers, updates for projects are immediate. Fun and laid back environment, but also fast paced.

As a smaller company, there are not many solid processes for development and support. Things are done with verbal communication, but less written and less documentation.

Work with intelligent employees who are also a lot of fun. The company is currently about 15 employees which is great for a closer relationship with coworkers. Learning and growing are both consistent, which are important to me. Open office atmosphere, no cubicles here! Unique compensation benefits along with competitive pay. The project also have a real practical implementation rather than simply another app that can share photos. Allows for a more accomplished feeling when finished with a project.

Right now the company doesn't have a ton of the smaller perks that larger companies do, but if you're signing up for a job because of the smaller perks then I think you're choosing a job for the wrong reasons. An employee may have to wear multiple hats and some perceive this as a negative.

The work environment is very relaxed and open. The studio is small but filled with very outgoing and intelligent developers. The company is open to internal product ideas. It feels like Atomic is on the brink of really great opportunities.

Communication between clients and developers can be lacking which leads to inefficient development. The lack of efficient processes in general for getting a clean start on projects shows the newness of the company.

Good place, overall. Been a little chaotic at times, but lots of major potential.

We are set on only hiring very high quality candidates, management chases big ideas, and we work on a lot of interesting apps. Free sodas and snacks are always available, and we're currently working on finding a fancy, new office. Some people may not like this, but everyone here wears multiple hats. We all know that someone who has one talent usually has several, and management is great about coming up with projects where employees can expand on a new skill set or an area of interest for employees.

Historically, salaries hadn't been quite up to Austin standards, but that's supposed to change soon. Not a huge fan of the current office space, but that is also changing soon too.

Smart people, laid back environment and growing very quickly

Flexible work environment. Lots of interaction with senior management. Everyone is very open to helping each other. It is a very collaborative environment. Everyone gets to give their input on any projects or ideas they may have. Overall, very intelligent, goal driven people who like to have fun but still get lots of meaningful work done. Definitely my favorite job that i have worked since graduating.
