The internal competition for existing customers is insane. You have to deal with EAR's and EAE's prospecting into your account base which creates a negative customer experience. You need to review what other large organizations are doing with AM's because keeping your customers should be a priority and it's clearly not. Only adding new services is. Where's the incentive for customer loyalty?

Frustrating leadership - descensions are made from the top down, often without consulting engineers.
Always a fire to put out - for some reason it always seems that some critical equipment is broken right when you need it
Poor management - for my group at least, we were working without a proper manager or project owner, with generally no direction or goal in sight.

Business sales is a pressure cooker! The internal installation processes are ridiculous, no sense of urgency! Market has heavy competition from several competitors. Managers are mostly good but their under the gun! Additionally at the time there was a great purging of Time Warner leadership to bring in Charter/Spectrum management.
