private:envoyair https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=807917 Jan 29th, 2021 12:00AM Open Open Envoy Air Fleet Service Clerk Chicago, IL One of the most disgusting and unacceptable pay rates combined with a miserable, toxic work culture.. -No Experience needed -You get to play the where's Waldo version of finding the kind and normal coworkers which is rare to find. -Great flight benefits that you will rarely have time to use. - You get to be near and work on really cool $21 million dollar aircraft while being paid a non-livable, minimum wage. - A lot of tasks and responsibilities will help temporarily block your horrible depression and self-reflection on your life decisions that made you end up working here. -The most disgusting and unacceptable pay rate for the amount of responsibility, danger, and workload involved. You'd literally have a better gig at Target. - Incredibly toxic and unwelcoming work environment. Could be compared to the military or penitentiary. Although in one at least you'd get paid a livable salary. - COVID-19 protocols not followed at all in the breakrooms that are full of people without masks on. -Company does not pay for your uniform or required work boots. They state that it is "50/50" for the uniform and you have to buy your own work boots in full. - Cut-throat attendance policy. Incredibly strict and non-forgiving. - Very high turnover rate. people always leaving and people always coming. For reasons stated above. - A lot of miserable boomers who don't want anything to do with you but you're stuck with them for 8 hours. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 0.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 1.0 807917 Open I'd like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to join the Envoy team to witness and experience firsthand the true exploitative nature of the regional airline industry. I hope to share my experiences and knowledge with prospective employees and publishers so they too understand and share with others what a horrible company this is. During our "orientation," a union representative came and mentioned how he has worked for your company for over 25 years and still receives $15/hr. To all higher management: You may and probably do not care at all, but the sheer amount of embarrassment, and pity I have for you is huge. I am explaining things you already know but could care less to change. Your turnover rate will remain high and you will just be stuck being one of the worst airline companies to work for. I still give you hope and wish you all the best because you have failed miserably at taking care of your employees such as not wanting to provide a livable wage for what you consider an "important" job. That is just the "American" way I guess. 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 2.0 Feb 1st, 2021 08:06PM Feb 1st, 2021 08:06PM Envoy Air Consumer Services Travel & Leisure

No pay raises, will add more tasks from cooperate demands with no extra help or extra pay. They tell you that you are replaceable and that you choose to be there. Senior employees don't want to help out when its needed and do minimal work.
