Overall a good place to work

I like my coworkers. Good Benefits, fantastic PTO, leadership that cares about our wellbeing. Quality products that help improve lives.

Leadership turnover makes it difficult to keep up with changing styles and strategies. Bonuses could be better, they seem low compared to other places. Would be nice to go back to a renovated office post Covid. It's in need of major upgrades.

I appreciate how Covid has been handled. Hope we are able to keep some bit of flexibility long term. I can see we are investing in our people over the past year, but we need more. More training, more resources for managers to help us grow.

Great new Executive Leadership team; work-life balance is supported; PTO is good; still have long-term middle management intact. All our eggs are not in one basket (we have great success in Healthcare, Office, Education and global markets) even now during the pandemic. Excellent well known brand globally. Employee input is valued through surveys and open company meetings.

We've been through lots of changes, Previous Executive Leadership team was struggling on many levels. Lots of competition is picking at our success. Lots of layoffs a couple years ago was due to earlier bad decisions of mergers.

Horrible Managment Running a Once Great Company to the Ground

Ergotron is an awful place to work at. There are no pros at this time.
|
-Self-serving leadership that has no interest in the well-being of the company or staff.
-Toxic work environment with very little collaboration cross-functionally.
-Horendous and depressing office space with management continuously decreasing usable space to make room for large, private offices that are typically unoccupied.
-No respect for even the most dedicated employees.
-Constant staff turnover and leadership changes.
-Leadership with no direction and that has no problem blatantly lying to employees.
-No career growth opportunities.
-Yearly salary increases that are below inflation rates.
-Benefits and bonuses that are worsening for the majority of employees.

5 weeks vacation, some good co-workers. Our new CEO seems to be good.
|
Management is so messed up it isn't even funny. We have a "good old boys" network, only with all women. Promotions go to people who don't even qualify. There are Managers who have no clue how to deal with employees. Other Management members are so full of themselves that they can't make a decision to save their life. Can you say, "Two-faced?"
