Good hourly rate. Your customer service skills develop quickly when dealing with many patrons attending events. Employer tends to over hire every year. Supervisors don't train and congregate together to gossip. Number of shifts allocated vary greatly from year to year irrespective of length of service, loyalty and good performance. Some of the shifts will be of 3 hours only and staff favourites will receive 5 or more hours per shift. The inconsistency in allocation of shifts is the main reason why staff leave.
