Perfekter Job für Studenten mit netten Kollegen

Ich war als Student für 14 Monate bei Europcar in Bayreuth und es war ohne Frage der beste Minijob, den ich bis dato gemacht habe. Es gab zwei Schichten, welche beide so geplant waren, dass vom Tag noch genug übrig bleibt. Die fest angestellten Kollegen vor Ort waren stets korrekt zu mir und sehr nett. Wer gerne Auto fährt ist hier sicherlich gut aufgehoben, auch wenn das Fahren nicht die Hauptaufgabe ist.

What is the best part of working at the company?
It was very local to home, so it was walkable.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There are a number of roles within the office, one being Fleet Controller, one of which was forever getting the driver/valeter's backs up as the Fleet Controller was constantly on a power trip. Didn't have a second thought for anyone!
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The culture of the company is work, work, work, work "until jobs done" which meant you often don't get a lunch/dinner until WELL into the afternoon (only when the Fleet Controller says you can have it!!). MANY times working late into the night, even getting people out of bed to deliver their hire car!!! There is only a work/work balance, family life takes a backseat to those in charge.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Start before 8.00am, work, work, work, work, dinner when told you can have it, work, work, work, work until late which is every night. Don't expect to be home before 8.00pm most days.

Système de rémunération injuste

On touche nos primes que si on atteint un déclencheur. Le calcul de ce déclencheur est très opaque, et on n'a pas accès à ces infos. Si on ne touche pas les primes, c'est le SMIC pour du travail en horaires décalés, et le weekend.
Europcar a des pratiques commerciales malhonnêtes avec ses clients et ce sont les conseillers commerciaux qui en font les frais puisque la prime est majorée ou minorée en fonction du retour des clients sur l'enquête de satisfaction client. La plupart ne sont pas content parce qu'on leur a détecté un dommage, Europcar coûte trop cher etc, et c'est le conseiller commercial qui perd de sa prime à cause de ça. La direction ne dit pas un mot là dessus.
Le matériel avec lequel on travaille est un logiciel qui a 30 ans et qui est affreusement pénible à utiliser (tout se fait au clavier avec des raccourcis clavier abracadabrantesques, comptez au moins 1 mois avant de pouvoir être autonome)
Depuis que je travaille chez Europcar je déconseille à tout mon entourage de venir louer ou travailler chez eux. C'est vous dire à quel point j'ai hâte de partir.

Typical day at work start with customers lined up with no vehicles and then abuse , station manager not answering calls . Management know staff go through all this so they avoid the counter . They will also load up things that is not in your contract.
