Amazing team, healthy work environment

After nine months of working at Events.com in San Diego, I've learned so much and truly feel as though one can quickly progress professionally with the proper efforts here, thanks to an incredibly supportive team. I can rely/depend on [anyone, really] during times of need, and the management is always willing to accommodate to fit your schedule when life happens.
Events.com truly care about their staff as individuals, and you can really feel that love. Management keeps the kitchen and water stations fully stocked, and even worked out a deal with the onsite fitness center to get the entire staff our own memberships, so lunch breaks are usually spent taking care of ourselves physically!

Transparent tech company that feels like a family
|
Events.com's culture is unlike anything I've experienced. Everyone--from the engineers to management to summer associates to customer support--helps each other. We all feel heavily invested in the company's success. It's awesome to be a part of a company with energy like that, especially in the tech space.
So many intelligent people work here who come from varying backgrounds. No matter what I'm working on, I feel like I'm always learning from my coworkers. We spend a lot of time together, whether it's lunches, happy hours, charity events, company and client events, gym workouts, watching each other's dogs (lol), etc.
Biggest perk: total transparency. Management regularly shares important company updates with us whether it be financing, big client wins, or other information. I always feel like I'm in the loop and that my voice is heard (disclosure: I'm low on the totem pole).
Events.com is a company where I see myself sticking around for years to come.

Recent changes aren't good

Management doesn't care about their employees, only their bottom line. There has been alot of staff turnover and lack of communication and transparency to staff.
